About Jay's Furniture Products

Jay's Furniture Products was established in 1956 by father and son, Jay and Jim Gianni. The original name of the company was Jay's Auto Trim. It was a two man operation, specializing in custom automobile upholstery and convertible tops. Eventually Jay and Jim added custom boat interiors, canvas tops and covers to their business. The company eventually changed their name to Jay's Upholstery and they started reupholstering commercial furniture for restaurants, hotels and schools. Shortly after that, they started building booths for homes and restaurants.

In the early 1980s, Jim's sons John and Dean Gianni joined the company and learned the skill of upholstery. In the late 1980s they decided to add a wood working department to the company and they started focusing on building commercial furniture only. In 1995 they changed the company name to Jay's Furniture Products.

The company grew quickly after that. Even though this was a custom business that they were building, they wanted to set it up as a production facility. They realized that they needed to add a finishing department and final assembly department. They needed more space to do this, so they purchased their current building in 2005.

Jay's now manufactures top quality commercial furniture for restaurants, hotels, casinos, schools, offices and more. They are one of the top commercial furniture manufacturers in the country. All of the furniture they build is custom made for each customer to any size and shape and with any covering. It is all built in their factory in Buffalo, New York.
